Kristin Huber, a School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering Junior, established a novel Java program that streamlined the analysis of tissues for the Stabenfeldt Lab. The Stabenfeldt Lab develops novel targeted diagnostic and therapeutic biomaterials in the treatment of traumatic brain injury. Existing pipelines of image analysis require time-consuming and error prone ImageJ processing. Kristin dramatically optimized this process by building an accessible user interface that allows the user to complete accurate and reproducible image analysis, as well as the ability to open and save data with ease.
